Carrying his robes & bowl, he went along the road to where Angulimala was staying. Having wandered for alms in Savatthi and returning from his alms round after his meal, he set his lodging in order.

Then the Blessed One, early in the morning, having put on his robes and carrying his outer robe & bowl, went into Savatthi for alms.
